"Shannon Doyle is one of the elite hockey skills instructors in our area, and North America. The coaching she has received at the professional, collegiate and Canadian national team levels has clearly translated into a deep knowledge of the skills required to be a competitive hockey player. The best part about Shannon is her ability to apply that knowledge in private instruction and clinics in a way that is easy for young players to understand. Having witnessed Shannon’s instruction firsthand with my daughters and others in our program, it has been awesome to watch the girls working hard and having lots of fun while they are doing it. Watching the rapid growth of all her players has been truly unbelievable. Whether your focus is on skating, stick skills or both, I can’t recommend Shannon highly enough for hockey skills instruction. "
"I had the pleasure of coaching Shannon Doyle with the CT whale where she served as our Captain. Shannon exemplifies all the skills it takes to be a great leader. She has integrity, strength, and compassion. Shannon is highly respected by her teammates for her willingness to sacrifice and put herself on the line for the team. Not only is she a great leader on the ice but also in the community. Shannon started a charity called blocks for books that donated money to the Room to Read Foundation for every blocked shot she recorded. She has a great knowledge of the game of hockey, I know she will make a great coach applying her experience and passion for the game to pass along to the next generation. "
"My girls started skating with Shannon when they were 7 years old. Not only has their skating improved dramatically, but their confidence on the ice has been night and day. Her personal approach to each child has allowed each of my daughters to focus on weaker areas at their own speed. Not only does Shannon demonstrate each drill herself, but she gives each child specific instruction on how to make small improvements that make a dramatic difference. Her playful demeanor with the kids has them excited to go back to practice every time. I can’t recommend her high enough."
