Summer 2023 Strength and Conditioning

Welcome back!  We are looking forward to beginning our 3rd consecutive summer training with the Sound Lacrosse program.  The past two years have seen TSP work on speed, agility, and strength with all teams ranging from 6th grade up through high school.  We have been able to upgrade our program and our facilities each year to help build the best lacrosse players we possibly can!

What can you expect?

At the middle school level, we will focus on the correct way to train in order to improve as an athlete.  We will focus on technique as a priority, core and body weight strength, speed, agility, and coordination while having as much fun as possible! 

High school level athletes will start to build on their foundation by improving their strength, speed and power output.  They will start to dial in their training to help bridge the gap between the weightroom and the lacrosse field.  Our workouts are designed to help our high school athletes compete at the highest level on the turf.


When and where?

              All workouts take place the state-of-the-art Greenwich Country Day weightroom on their Stanwich Road campus.  You can find the weightroom door directly across from the tower that leads to the front turf field. 

The set-up will be slightly different than it has been the past two summers. Instead of having individual team workout sessions, we are going to offer two time slots weekly for each age group – middle school (2030, 2029, 2028) and high school (2024, 2025, 2026, 2027).  You will have the option to attend one workout per week or both.  We are going to have a maximum of 20 girls for each time slot.  If we sell out the spots, we will look to add more!

      • Mondays – 5-6pm – High School – (6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/10)

        • Tuesday – 4-5pm – Middle School (6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/4, 7/11)

        • Wednesdays – 5-6pm – Middle School (6/7, 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/5, 7/12)

        • Thursdays – 5-6pm – High School (6/8, 6/15, 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13)


      Spot is reserved once payment is received. Payments can be made via Venmo to @TurnerSportsPerformance

      1 session per week/6 sessions = $250

      2 sessions per week/ 12 sessions = $450
